1. Debra Messing: no sabrá a estas alturas que a la red carpet no se va con las ventanas del auto abiertas? y que tampoco hay que meter los dedos al enchufe en los instantes previos a un evento como este? me dificultó mucho apreciar objetivamente lo lindo de su oscar de la renta...
2. Viggo Mortensen: triste evolución, no? o es solo el horrendo outfit que eligió? mmm.... Por suerte esa escena, esa única escena que recuerdo del Señor de los Anillos permanece indeleble en mi memoria...
3. Sandra Oh, Oh, Oh... OH MY GOD! qué hace con ese lazo, que incluía gratis un vestido??? horror de horrores... soy la única persona que agradece que los '80 hayan pa-sa-do???

aleurzua: esto de la huelga de escritores tiene algo positivo: no hay nada que ver en la tv asi qeu se ve menso tv y los sag son tan charchas al lado de los Oscar que como que los mire de reojo. Pero si me detuve a ver lo mal vestida de Sandra Oh y de una rubiecita que no tienes foto que fue con un vestido verde con piedras por todos lados h-o-r-r-i-b-l-e. A Debrah le han alabado el vestido, y ese modelo de cuello arrasa con todo aca pero a mi no me gusta. Como que me ahogo de verlo. Y nada, yo creo que a Viggo le salio el argentino que lleva dentro, como que le cuelga faja de gaucho roja, no?
No me gusto ninugnun vestido, todos fomes, strapples, como los que uno se compraria muuuuchisimo mas baratos. Aca va el comentario de la experta del NY Times (que mas que nada lo pego por su alabanzas a Mr. JB, mi nuevo objeto de adoracion):

March of the Barbies!

The red carpet at the SAG Awards tonight looked surprisingly scripted, even by red carpet standards. Did the stylists and publicists get together and decide that (nearly) every actress should go strapless? Maybe my tube was small, maybe there were too many people and pets crowding in my kitchen on this Sunday night, but the view was predominantly of bare shoulders and bobbing bouffant heads. Oh, and a little slash of fabric representing the bodice & cleavage of a dress. The camera angles could be lascivious. In the strapless contingent were Cate Blanchett, Kate Beckinsale, Vanessa Williams, Angelina Jolie, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sandra Oh, and Teri Hatcher. Though I couldn’t see all of her dress, Ellen Paige looked smart, I thought, in a black Zac Posen dress with a v-neck and short kimono sleeves, especially with her smooth hair. Debra Messing’s gold Oscar de la Renta dress at least had some kind of interesting neckline on an evening of what amounted to table-top dressing.
Giorgio Armani was well represented, particularly among the men (Cruise, Clooney, Bale, Travolta, Crowe), but it didn’t seem a big night for couture houses. Most are just finishing collections in Paris or getting ready for shows next month. How much media play can they get from the SAG awards?

I can’t say the actresses didn’t attempt to look girlie, as Christina Applegate (in Elie Saab) put it. The soft up-do’s and loose hair (Blanchett, Jolie), as well as some of the intense jewel colors (Marcia Cross), made for a fresh, youthful glamour. But I can’t see that the fashion police will really have much to discuss. There wasn’t enough exceptional fashion. My vote for the best-dressed person was Javier Bardem, who looked terrific without a tie.
